South Cheshire CROSSROADS-Caring for Carers is a specialist voluntary organisation providing support to Carers in their own homes, giving Carers “time” to be themselves.

 

In March 2007 we were awarded excellent status by the Commission for Social Care Inspection. During a recent unannounced inspection, all aspects of the service were examined and carers, families and staff who work for Crossroads were asked what they think of the service.

 

The inspection report indicates that South Cheshire Crossroads has received an excellent rating.  This is the highest rating achievable under current inspection standards.

 

Founded in 1991, we have grown from being a small, community-based organisation to be one of the leading social enterprises within Cheshire offering social care services.

 

 

Our primary aim is to enhance carers' lives. We do this in a variety of ways, mainly by offering respite or short breaks to carers and their families. 

 

South Cheshire CROSSROADS is registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection.  This means that our service is inspected on a regular basis and that the services provided are of a high quality.

 

South Cheshire CROSSROADS is governed by a local Board of Directors/Trustees who are volunteers. They bring a range of skills and experience to the Board and have overall responsibility for the service.
